This McAlpine 1 1/4 x 1 1/4" self-closing waste valve includes a BSP female inlet nut x universal compression outlet. The valve's membrane opens under water pressure allowing discharge to freely flow before closing to form a seal designed to prevent unpleasant odours and sewer gases escaping into the premises.
